• Share your views on key concerns and opportunities of The Retained EU Law Bill (REUL), including on regulation that may affect market access for companies, standards and regulation. The bill is currently going through Parliament which, once passed, will give Ministers the power to retain, amend, or repeal over 2,000 EU-derived laws on the statute book. The Humber 2030 Vision was launched this in October by the CBI and our members and partners at The Waterline Summit, the largest decarbonisation conference in the north of England. The panel was chaired by Jonathan Oxley, Director for the Humber Cluster, CBI, with speakers from SSE Thermal, Equinor, Associated British Ports and VPI. Members of the CBI’s Thriving Regions & Nations team attended the Summit of the South East, presented by Localis, the Municipal Journal and Willmott Dixon. The event included panel discussions on growth, planning and devolution in the South East alongside the role of local government and the appetite for growth in the region.
